The
Illinois Oil and Gas Association is pleased to announce a new benefit to our membership
that we feel will enhance the long range goals of our association and bring additional
value to those qualifying members seeking quality insurance products for their oil &
gas business.
For
some time now, IOGA has worked with Chaney & Karch Insurance Group, Inc. as the
sponsoring agent of the IOGA insurance program written through Insurance Management
Associates (IMA). Additionally, IOGA has had a direct relationship with IMA that allowed
us to offer insurance products to our members. For various reasons, we now feel the time
is right to transfer the responsibility of selling & servicing IOGA group insurance
accounts to the professionals…..Chaney & Karch of Mt. Vernon, IL.
Owner
Eric Puntney has over 20 years of insurance experience and has provided insurance products
for oil & gas clients of all sizes within the Illinois Basin for more than 15 years.
He is dedicated to world class service and helping IOGA members to secure the
comprehensive and competitively priced insurance products they need in today’s
ever-changing insurance marketplace.
In
addition to enhancing the focus upon professional insurance management, this new
relationship will have a direct positive influence upon your association both financially,
as well as through membership expansion support. IOGA will gain from this partnership and
those gains will come back to the membership in many ways. Expansion of the member base
and adding enhanced value to all members are the keys to allowing our association to
flourish in the years ahead.
Eric
is anxious to meet all IOGA members with whom he is not yet acquainted and will be
actively calling on both current IOGA insurance program clients as well as members who
currently have their insurance coverage elsewhere. His goal is to be able to discuss the
possibility of coverage with all qualifying members….operators/producers, drillers,
and service contractors are our main thrust within the program but Chaney & Karch has
other markets available which may allow coverage to be quoted on risks outside of these
primary areas also.
